The subject aims to enable learners to interpret various technical drawings and to communicate ideas graphically.
Building plans, machine parts as well as perspective drawing; solids and loci.
The subject will be useful for future studies and careers in the engineering, building or architectural fields
Auto CAD (computer assisted drawing) is integrated into the course and is a useful preparation for tertiary studies in the field. Learners choosing EGD need to be familiar with drawing concepts taught in grade 9.
