With the demand for more pool time for practices and with the popularity of waterpolo as an official sport it was decided to build up the old swimming pool to a depth of 2.2m.
The waterpolo pool was officially opened on 20 September 2003 by Mr Mike Wilkins. Three years later stands were erected which greatly enhances the atmosphere around the pool. The next project of heating the pool is underway which will ensure out-of-season training.
